My Art C V 


 Many of the paintings here are of my favorite places, some whilst on holiday, and some of my favorite places here in north Wales where I am happy to live. I have had a very hit and miss art training. A very short time in Rochdale Art School back in the mists of time. I then was encouraged to "Get a proper job" by my father, so I did my nurse training at Alderhey hospital in Liverpool. I was then married, had a family and forgot about painting. I was then lucky enough to become an ex pat wife in Hong Kong, where I had time to play. I found a strong art scene there and began life classes with the YWCA. I have continued to hopefully "grow" and I try to take my painting gear with me at every opportunity. I exhibit regularly with the Clwydian Art Society; I have had a solo exhibition in Ruthin Library, I had two paintings selected for Patchings annual exhibition in Nottinghamshire where there were only 70 pictures selected nationally for the amateur exhibition. I had a painting accepted for the Royal Cambrian Academy in Conwy for this year's open and have had several pictures in Theatre Clwyd in Mold also for Open Exhibitions. I have also exhibited with friends in both Llangollen and Beaumaris on Anglesey. I have paintings in private collections in Hong Kong, Australia and the USA. These are pictures of some of my happy times. I have enjoyed painting them. Please enjoy looking at them.
